Practice Manager

Diane Douglas joined the practice in October 2019, alongside GP Partners, Diane has overall responsibility for the running of the practice, it's strategic development, growth, and continuous improvement. Diane has previously worked as a Practice Manager in B&NES and has a keen interest in collaborative working and innovation.


Assistant Practice Manager

Toni Venn joined Sea Mills in 2014, Toni brings a wealth of knowledge to her role which incorporates IT lead, monitoring data and workflow, ensuring the IT systems and telephony are working to full efficiency.  The Practice Manager and experienced Administration team oversee the day-to-day safety and facilities management of the surgery.

The Practice Receptionists and Navigators are the front line of our service and will do all they can to help you. The team are responsible for making appointments, taking requests for visits, requests for hospital transport, sorting mail and answering general enquiries. They must follow the instructions of the doctors and at the same time satisfy the patient needs, occasionally under difficult circumstances, all of which makes it a very demanding and exacting job.


Medical Secretary 

Liz Smith is the practice Medical Secretary. Liz is responsible for overseeing all tasks associated with referrals on behalf of the GP's as well as dealing with medical and insurance reports and other administration responsibilities including patient registrations, pathology and out-of-hours links, patient smear recalls, input of investigations, scanning incoming letters & medical notes onto the patient records. Liz is supported by a small team of colleagues to ensure urgent referrals and results are prioritised daily and workflow runs smoothly.
